Tupper holds off Albreada at USA

Tonights 358 event from USA International sure gave the fans a whale of a show! AJ Albreada would start pole for the first time this season, with action galore through the field. Quick Timer Josh Kotten would come from 19th to fight in the top 5, while usual front runners Michael Achzet and Trevor Williams were challenging all night. It was crazy seeing how multi-groove the race was coming into being mid-race. It was around that point, mid-race, that Eric Tupper and Chase Hardy started creeping forward. With 6 laps to go Tupper finally got a chance, and would sneak by Albreada for the first time. For the next few laps they would trade the lead over and over, Albreada taking point on one end with Tupper taking it back on the other end. A caution with 3 laps to go threw everything in the air, though. Tupper was awarded the top spot so he got off to a good jump. Albreada tried every turn to get a wheel in there. On the final lap off 4, he managed to get just a peak underneath. They would drag race down the straight but Tupper would hold him off for his second win of 2021!
